Who does Sapling serve:

Sapling serves children from 18 months through 18 years old. We provide comprehensive support for a wide variety of speech and language development needs, including:

  • Speech Sound Disorders: Helping children who struggle to produce specific sounds or exhibit patterns of speech errors that impact their overall clarity and intelligibility.

  • Early Language Delays: Supporting "late talkers" or toddlers who are communicating with unusually short utterances for their age.

  • Language Disorders: Assisting children who struggle to master age-appropriate grammar, utilize limited vocabulary, or communicate via Gestalt Language Processing (GLP) and need guidance moving through the natural stages of language development.

Payment information:

Sapling is an out-of-network provider with all insurance companies. However, many insurance plans still provide partial or full coverage for our services through out-of-network benefits. We recommend calling your insurance provider directly to verify if your specific policy covers out-of-network speech-language therapy. To support you, we provide a detailed monthly superbill containing all the necessary medical codes you need to submit to your insurer for direct reimbursement.

Payment is due in full at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept HSA/FSA cards, credit cards, and debit cards through our secure online client portal.

Accessible care:

At Sapling, we believe every child deserves access to high-quality communication support, regardless of financial circumstances. To help bridge the gap for families in our community, we reserve 15% of our weekly therapy sessions for pro-bono (no-cost) care.

These slots are dedicated exclusively to families who currently qualify for and are enrolled in Medicaid, and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis depending on current availability. If your child is enrolled in Medicaid and you would like to inquire about an open pro-bono slot, please reach out to us in confidence—we are here to help.
